Abstract

With the integrated development of tourism and the cultural and creative industries, tourism in cultural and creative industry clusters has become a new driver of urban economic growth. Tourism in the Jingdezhen ceramic cultural and creative industry cluster has developed rapidly, yet it still lags behind more developed regions. Identifying the driving factors and driving mechanism that shape its tourism development is therefore a meaningful research issue. This study first clarifies the connotation and characteristics of cultural and creative industry cluster tourism. It then analyzes the current situation of tourism development in the Jingdezhen ceramic cultural and creative industry cluster, summarizes the key driving factors, and constructs a driving-mechanism model for tourism development in this cluster. Finally, optimization paths are proposed from four dimensions: the demand system, attraction system, intermediary system, and support system.
