Abstract
Chinese new poetry, which originated from the social transition and institutional change in modern China, has an inseparable relationship between its text and thought and the current situation, geographical logic and political authority. Ideology affects and even dominates the construction of cultural value system and poetic creation ecology. After a hundred years, the writing of new poetry has gradually returned to the local context, absorbed classical elements, and based on historical implications after going through the Westernization wave of European style and power dominated paradigm writing. It has begun to explore the theoretical resources with Neo Confucianism as the main body in addition to Marxism Leninism and Liberalism since the May 4th movement. Drawing on the concept of "cultural China" put forward by Du Weiming in 1989, and using the new "inner sage and outer king" consciousness structure contributed by the four generations of Confucianism, this paper reflects on the development path of Chinese new poetry, and re examines the origin of contemporary poetics, which may have the effect of rectifying errors and eliminating disadvantages, correcting mistakes and promoting innovation.
